| What do you mean, 'semi-free air'? It will be in a sealed enclosure. There AREN'T any better places to put a sub in the cabin. If you have a magical one, please let us know. OH, I'm sorry, you have a 'no recommendation' policy in your postings. From the posts just below regarding locations for the sub: Behind passenger seat: No way in he!! that you can put a sub there unless your passenger has no legs, and then the sub is hitting the backside of the seat. Trunk: Again..no way in he!!. I've had one there and you lose ALL the sound. You hear a *bit* of bass and mostly just the trunk lid resonates (yea, I used dynamat and foam to stop most of that too). However, if I chose to have my trunk just barely open, then it improved dramatically. Not a real choice obviously. Have you guys seen the convertible in person? The ONLY other place I know to put a sub in the cabin and keep storage space is down by the ECU. I heard of someone putting an enclosure way down there, consisting of 2 6" JL audio subs. I never saw it or heard it personally. I wouldn't think it would be that great being that they are only 6" subs. And to power the 11 speakers will be a five channel amp. The head unit will power the front 5 1/4's, the front channel of the amp will power the 6.5" doors, the rear channel of the amp will power the 6.5" in the rear, and the sub channel will power the sub. At least that's the plan at this time. Didn't seem that complex to me. Sorry that you couldn't figure it out. Go back to designing and/or borrowing PETZ violations photos.
